Prevention of cross-infection using Easy-One articulator System

  • To prevent contamination during transportation from a dental laboratory to dentish, put the completed prosthesis and the working model in a setrilized hermetic bag and seal the bag by using a hand sealer, before sending it to the dentist
  • Before setting the completed prosthesis to the patient, prepare a clean Easy-One articulator equipped on a chair side of the dentist, and the working model on which the prosthesis sent from the dental laboratory is mounted
  • Cut, with scissors, the sterilized hermic bag for prevention of cross infection and take out the working model on which the prosthetis is mounted. Set it on Easy-One articulator, in which the model is freely detachable
  • Before setting the completed prosthesis to the patient, a doctor may easily explain to the patient about the status of an oral cavity, articulation conditions, or the like after a dental treatment, by using a plaster model attached to Easy-One articultor

There is seldom the case that the distance between the cut edge and the transverse horizontal axis of the maxillary center incisor is more than 100mm. Most of it lies in 93mm or so. According to a research paper my Miyamoto, which was published in 2005, the distance between the cut edge and the transverse horizontal axis of the maxillary central incisor is almost identital to each individual and its average value is 93.4mm+-3.7mm. What the preciseness of the transverse horizontal axis determined by an ear plug is within +-5mm range means that the individual difference of radius is within the error tolerance range. This preciseness is the same as that determined by naked eyes using a rear reference point.
